Keenan Davis, LP.D, MS, is a real estate developer, social scientist, and educator. Davis is Managing Partner of One Institution Holdings – a green real estate firm focused on community development, affordable housing, and neighborhood stabilization. Davis founded the urban real estate investment firm to provide affordable housing and blight removal through green construction within opportunity zones and inner-city neighborhoods. His primary goal is to provide communities with housing options that are affordable, livable, and environmentally friendly.
Dr. Davis earned a bachelors from LSU, masters in organizational leadership from Regis University, and finished his doctorate in law and policy at Northeastern University. He also completed advanced training in Real Estate Development at the SC Johnson School of Business at Cornell University.
Dr. Davis previously worked in professional sports for 10 years in several leadership capacities, beginning with a role in public relations and international operations with the NFL League Office in New York, and NFL Europe League based in London. Davis left the NFL to serve as Commissioner of the All American Football League, overseeing 7 locations across the US. He later pursued multiple entrepreneurial endeavors leading to a partnership opportunity with an education startup funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation that he would later lead from inception to acquisition. He then became an initial investor with Hammer & Nails Men’s Grooming Shop, which was featured on Season 6 of the TV show Shark Tank. Davis is a 4x founder and experienced green real estate leader.
Dr. Davis is married to Dr. Farah Husain with two children (Parsa) and (Cairo), and enjoys traveling, reading, and practicing yoga.
